# Align MCP Server

Align is a personal planner for tasks, notes, projects, goals, habits and a simple money log. Connect it to Claude and work with your own plan in conversation: ask what is due today or overdue, find a note, check progress on a goal, or see this month's income and spending. When you ask, Claude can add a task, change a task's date or status, mark it done, write a note, or update a project.

You choose what to share on Align's consent screen. Read-only access is available; editing is a separate permission. Align's tools cannot delete anything, cannot open the encrypted Vault, cannot read health data, and cannot move money — Align only records numbers you enter. You can disconnect at any time from Claude or from Align (Settings → AI Service).

## Status

### Why the tool list is not verified

Align refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
