# AppTail – ASO & Keyword Research MCP Server

AppTail is an app store optimization (ASO) and market research toolkit for iOS developers and marketers. Ask Claude to research a niche, benchmark competitors, find keywords worth targeting and audit an App Store listing, using live AppTail data across App Store storefronts.

What you can do
- Keyword research: Apple search popularity, ranked apps and keyword suggestions for any phrase and country, plus a keyword rank tracker for your own apps.
- Competitor analysis: find search leaders and niche rivals, compare ratings, pricing and listing positioning, and see which terms they rank for that you don't.
- App market research: size up a niche across storefronts before you build or launch, with leaders, saturation and coverage.
- App store reviews: read reviews by country and rating, find recurring complaints, and draft replies.
- App store analytics: for apps you connect through App Store Connect, read measured impressions, store views, downloads and proceeds, and get explanations for changes between periods.
- ASO recommendations: prioritized title, subtitle, keyword and localization suggestions backed by the evidence Claude retrieved.

Good to know
- iOS App Store only. Google Play is not covered.
- Competitor downloads and revenue, where shown, are rolling 30-day third-party estimates and are labelled as estimates. Measured analytics are available only for your own connected apps.
- Keyword popularity is an index, not monthly search volume. AppTail does not provide a numeric keyword difficulty score.
- Read-only by default. Tracking keywords or competitors and replying to reviews only happen when you ask, and AppTail does not publish listing metadata to the App Store.
- Sign in with your AppTail account via OAuth. Data access and tracking limits depend on your plan.
