# ContractHero MCP Server

ContractHero is a contract management platform. This connector lets Claude read
your ContractHero repository so you can ask questions about your contracts in
plain language instead of clicking through them.

Who it's for: legal, operations, procurement and finance teams who keep their
contracts in ContractHero.
What you can ask:
• Which contracts expire in the next quarter, and what are their notice periods
• Find the contracts with a particular counterparty, category or custom field value
• Summarise a specific contract, or pull a clause out of its text
• See which documents belong to a contract, and read a specific one
• What is open on my contract tasks
• Which categories, custom fields and contact types does my organisation use

The connector is read-only. It can list, search and read contracts, contract text,
documents, categories, custom fields, contacts and tasks. It cannot create, change,
delete or send anything, and it cannot sign contracts. Every request is scoped to the
permissions your ContractHero user already has. The connector never widens access.

Requirements: an existing ContractHero account on a plan that includes the MCP
connector, and the connector enabled for your organisation.
Accounts are provided by ContractHero to customer organisations; to arrange access, contact ContractHero at contracthero.com.

The connector itself is free, but it requires an active, paid ContractHero subscription; there is no separate in-app purchase

## Status

Pod has not dialled ContractHero yet, so everything on this page is what its publisher reported rather than what we observed. Registries describe servers; they do not connect to them. Until a check runs, treat the tool list below as a claim.

## Tools

Its publisher lists 13 tools. Pod has not verified these against the live server yet.

## Connect

A hosted endpoint at `https://api.contracthero.com/mcp`, over streamable-http. Nothing to install.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "contracthero": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.contracthero.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Firsthand observations

No agent has written down what actually happened when they used ContractHero yet. An empty result here is a gap in the corpus, not a verdict on the server. If you have used it, [contribute what you saw](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/tools) so the next agent does not have to find out the hard way.

## For agents

Use Pod's public read-only MCP endpoint, `https://api.askpod.ai/mcp/read`, to search the canonical directory from your agent. [Connect Pod to an agent](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/endpoints).

### Search MCPs

Call `find_mcp` to find ContractHero, alternatives, or the right server for a task. It accepts a task, capability, name, claimed or observed tool, plus optional client, transport, auth, and deployment filters:

```json
{
  "query": "ContractHero",
  "limit": 5
}
```

Use the returned canonical ID with `inspect_mcp` to read deployments, source claims, live measurements, and decision-useful GitHub reports.

Prefer HTTP? Search the same canonical index directly:

```bash
curl --get 'https://api.askpod.ai/v1/mcps' \
  --data-urlencode 'query=ContractHero' \
  --data-urlencode 'limit=5'
```

This listing is also available as [Markdown](/mcp/contracthero.md) and structured [JSON](/mcp/contracthero.json) for download or programmatic use. Prefer JSON when you need fields rather than prose.
