# Dial MCP Server

Dial connects Claude to your existing Dial food and weight records. Review portions, calories and macros before saving a meal, see daily totals and nutrition targets, and correct or undo foods saved through the connection. With separate weight permissions, read your current recorded weight or a requested daily snapshot and save or correct today’s weight in lb or kg after confirming the value, unit and date. A daily snapshot may carry forward a previous weight; it does not imply a new weigh-in. Changes appear in the Dial app when it refreshes. Dial receives the selected structured food and weight values, not the full conversation or original meal photos. An existing Dial account is required, including guest accounts through Approve in Dial. Older food-only connections need to reconnect to approve weight access.

### Why the tool list is not verified

Dial refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
