# Envestnet MoneyGuide MCP Server

MoneyGuide is Envestnet’s financial planning software used to build goals-based plans that connect client conversations into actionable investment strategies.

This connector gives Claude read-only access to select MoneyGuide data an advisor is already entitled to see, so they can ask questions in plain language.

Claude can provide a plan snapshot including plan health, goals, and net worth summary.

Useful for researching account information, preparing meeting materials, or analyzing clients and plans across your business.

Make sure, in MoneyGuide on the Main Menu, select Partner Options. Then scroll down to "Has MCP:" and toggle to "Yes".

### Why the tool list is not verified

Envestnet MoneyGuide refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
