# FastQuotes MCP Server

FastQuotes is the quoting engine of TruckitUSA Freight, a working U.S. freight agency. Connect it and ask for a freight quote the way you'd ask a person: "Flatbed from Dallas, TX to Oklahoma City, OK, steel plate, 40 ft long, 10 ft wide, 4 ft tall, 38,000 lbs."

FastQuotes returns a current market rate for the lane and equipment, the transit estimate, and the terms the rate depends on, plus a link to the full terms. It covers dry van, flatbed, step deck, Conestoga, hotshot, straight truck, sprinter van, and partial loads. Routine oversize loads come back with the permit states named on the quote. Loads that need escorts or special handling come back as "pending review" instead of a guessed number, and our team follows up.

FastQuotes can quote freight, but it can't book it on its own. When you ask to book, the request goes to our freight team, and a person confirms every shipment before a truck moves.

### Why the tool list is not verified

FastQuotes refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
