# FeedNest MCP Server
FeedNest is a news reader built around the sources you choose: the blogs, publications, and experts you follow through RSS. Connect it to Claude and ask about your world instead of the whole web.
What you can do with it:
- Get a briefing of everything new across your feeds, grouped by source or topic
- Search every article from your sources by keyword, feed, folder, tag, or date
- Compare how different sources covered the same story
- Follow developing stories and spot emerging trends across your feeds
- Read the full text of an article, even when the RSS feed only carries a summary
- Highlight passages, add notes, and tag articles to organize your research
- Save articles or any web page to read later
- Check your reading history, streak, and unread counts
The connector only accesses your own FeedNest account. Actions that change your data, such as tagging, highlighting, or marking articles as read, are labeled as writes, and deletions and bulk changes are marked as destructive.
Requires a FeedNest account with a Pro subscription. You sign in with your FeedNest account when you connect, so there is no API key to copy.
**Authorization required.** Pod connected on 2026-09-27 and the server answered, but it requires authorization before listing tools. The 25 tools below remain publisher-reported and unverified.

## Status

### Why the tool list is not verified
FeedNest refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
