# Inkspired MCP Server

Inkspired is a platform where authors write and publish serialized stories and build the universes behind them. This connector gives your AI assistant access to your own Inkspired author workspace, so it can help you write, revise and understand your work without copy-pasting.

What it can do:
- Browse your work: list your stories and open any chapter, including drafts.
- Draft and revise: create new stories and chapter drafts, and save changes to drafts.
- Proofread safely: suggest corrections that you review and apply. Every change an assistant makes to a chapter is backed up first, so you can restore the previous version.
- Build your world: create universes, link stories to them, and add, update or link glossary entries for characters, places and lore.
- Understand your readers: read the comments and reviews on your chapters, see your writing stats, and view story performance. Performance includes reads, likes, retention and drop-off, demographics and rankings, within the limits of your plan.
- Stay on top of activity: check your recent notifications.

What it can't do: it can never publish, schedule or delete anything. Those actions stay with you on Inkspired. It only has access to your own account, you approve its permissions when you connect, and you can disconnect it at any time.

### Why the tool list is not verified

Inkspired refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
