# Joe Speaking MCP Server

Joe Speaking connects your read-only, cloud-synced English speaking practice to Claude. Find current IELTS Speaking questions, see which topics you have or have not practised, review Recording Practice and Live Conversation history separately, discuss saved scores and learner-facing feedback, and choose a focused next practice step. The connector only accesses the signed-in user's own Joe Speaking data after explicit OAuth authorization. It never writes or deletes data, and never returns raw audio, payment details, or credit balances.

### Why the tool list is not verified

Joe Speaking refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
