# LegalAtlas MCP Server
LegalAtlas gives Claude read-only access to a verified corpus of Mexican law, with the citation attached to every result.
Coverage, measured 30 August 2026:
• 635,239 articles in force (not repealed): 43,451 federal and 591,788 from the 32 states.
• 313 federal instruments, including the Constitution, 9 codes and 41 treaties, plus 5,445 state laws.
• 780 Mexican Official Standards (NOMs), searchable by numeral and by tariff code.
• 271,813 Mexican theses and rulings (Supreme Court and federal courts), plus the case law of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
• Judicial dockets for 20 states and the Federal Administrative Court, searchable by case file number.
Fifteen tools, all read-only: none writes, modifies or deletes anything. Every result carries the law and article it came from; case law also returns court, thesis, date and the Semanario Judicial de la Federación URL, so the answer can be cited and checked against the official source.
LegalAtlas is built for Mexico. Search distinguishes federal from state jurisdiction, and when a matter falls to the states and no state was given, the server says so in the response instead of answering with federal law as if it applied.
Judicial dockets are searched by case file number. Search by a person's name is not offered.
