# Lumacount MCP Server

Lumacount’s MCP server gives Claude access to structured SEC filing data for technical accounting research. Accounting teams can find comparable companies, examine how they report transactions, and use those examples when drafting policies, memos, and financial statement disclosures.

The server lets Claude:
- Find SEC-registered companies by name, ticker, or CIK, including industry and auditor information.
- Browse filings and retrieve financial statements and disclosure notes as structured line items.
- Compare accounting policies, presentation, and disclosures across companies.

Lumacount is an AI accounting and deal advisory platform built by CPAs. This connector provides the filing research layer for work in Claude; users should review source filings and applicable guidance when making accounting conclusions.
