setObjectSource across separate MCP tool calls fails with HTTP 423 Invalid Lock Handle

When following the documented write workflow (lock → setObjectSource as separate MCP tool calls), setObjectSource fails with:

HTTP 423 Locked
ExceptionResourceInvalidLockHandle

This happens even though lock just returned a lockHandle, and SM12 shows no leftover locks. Read-only tools (getObjectSource, searchObject, syntaxCheckCode, etc.) work fine.

searchObject/getObjectSource weren't available

Agent : The MCP tools login/searchObject/getObjectSource weren't available as Copilot tools (VS Code only loaded a subset), so I used the abap-adt-api library directly via Node.js. The connection to your SAP system at xxxx.com:44300 works correctly.

GetTable GetStructure exists？

Hi, Thank you for your great work on this project.

do the MCP tools GetTable and GetStructure actually exist? I tried using them but couldn’t get them to work. Blow is the readme file text：

getObjectSource truncates the source code

When I call to mcp-abap-abap-adt-api / getObjectSource with a program or function module that has extensive source code, I don't receive the full response, I get the source code truncated.

Is there an option or a way to always receive the complete source code?

Is it an issue with ADT or with the MCP API?
