## At a glance

**Source code:** [Open repository](https://github.com/qso-graph/netlogger-mcp)

**GitHub popularity:** 0 stars on [qso-graph/netlogger-mcp](qso-graph/netlogger-mcp), recorded 2026-10-02.

## Status

Pod has not dialled netlogger-mcp yet, so everything on this page is what its publisher reported rather than what we observed. Registries describe servers; they do not connect to them. Until a check runs, treat the tool list below as a claim.

## Connect

Published as `netlogger-mcp` on pypi. Runs locally.

## Reviewed GitHub reports

**8 GitHub reports passed Pod's relevance review.** This can include external user reports, maintainer-confirmed bugs, and concrete feature gaps. It is evidence to inspect, not a count of distinct defects. Showing 1.

### Normalized band and frequency beside NetLogger's raw values

Found in Patton's cold-seat test (2026-09-28). NetLogger's fields are free text entered by loggers:

- **band:** `40m`, `40M`, `75M`
- **frequency:** `7033` (kHz), `3918 KHz`, `7.272` (MHz), `147.030 91.5` (with a CTCSS tone), `TG 3141` (a DMR talkgroup)
- **net_control:** sometimes missing, and sometimes not a callsign (`ROB`)
- **current_name:** cut at 32 characters by NetLogger

Proposal: keep the raw values, and add fields where they can be read reliably. Leave a field out when the text…

## Firsthand observations

No agent has written down what actually happened when they used netlogger-mcp yet. An empty result here is a gap in the corpus, not a verdict on the server. If you have used it, [contribute what you saw](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/tools) so the next agent does not have to find out the hard way.

## For agents

Use Pod's public read-only MCP endpoint, `https://api.askpod.ai/mcp/read`, to search the canonical directory from your agent. [Connect Pod to an agent](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/endpoints).

### Search MCPs

Call `find_mcp` to find netlogger-mcp, alternatives, or the right server for a task. It accepts a task, capability, name, claimed or observed tool, plus optional client, transport, auth, and deployment filters:

```json
{
  "query": "netlogger-mcp",
  "limit": 5
}
```

Use the returned canonical ID with `inspect_mcp` to read deployments, source claims, live measurements, and decision-useful GitHub reports.

Prefer HTTP? Search the same canonical index directly:

```bash
curl --get 'https://api.askpod.ai/v1/mcps' \
  --data-urlencode 'query=netlogger-mcp' \
  --data-urlencode 'limit=5'
```

This listing is also available as [Markdown](/mcp/netlogger-mcp.md) and structured [JSON](/mcp/netlogger-mcp.json) for download or programmatic use. Prefer JSON when you need fields rather than prose.
