# PointOne MCP Server

PointOne is an AI-powered timekeeping and billing-compliance platform for law firms. This connector allows Claude access to the signed-in user’s PointOne workspace, where it can find clients and matters, review billing guidelines and classification codes, summarize time, check existing compliance findings, and view active timers.

Users can also create, update, and archive their own time entries, start and stop timers, and submit eligible entries for billing after confirmation. Authorized administrators can request firm-wide summaries. All actions remain subject to the user’s permissions, firm settings, ownership restrictions, and ethical walls.

## Status

Pod connected to PointOne on 2026-09-20. It answered, but requires authorization before it will list its tools, responding in 528ms.

### Why the tool list is not verified

PointOne refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
