The docs just say "get a client ID/secret", but when I go to the page to request it, https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps (the link the `README` gives), it just refuses to give it to me, saying

### Does this MCP support 2FA

Judging by the README, this requires username + password in order to edit posts or reply.

What if I have 2FA configured  for my account? Will the mcp server be able to authenticate in that case?

### Proposal: Add Sylvia API as zero-OAuth data backend option

### Authenticated-user read tools (get_me, saved, overview)

## Problem
No tools for the authenticated user's own context.

## Proposal
- `get_me` — `/api/v1/me`.
- `get_my_saved` / `get_my_overview` (your saved + overview history).

Read-only and policy-safe. No inbox/DM access (policy).

### Posting success: subreddit rules + settable post flair

## Problem
The most common write failure is auto-removal for missing flair or rule violations. Flair is currently **read-only** (displayed, not settable) and there is no rules tool.

## Proposal
- `get_subreddit_rules(subreddit)` — fetch posting rules.
- `get_post_flairs(subreddit)` — list available link flairs.
- Accept `flair_id` (+ `flair_text`) in `create_post`.

Pairs with the existing safe-mode/compliance ethos.

### Expand truncated comment trees (morechildren)

## Problem
`get_post_comments` returns only the initial comment tree; deep threads are truncated with no way to expand "load more" stubs.

## Proposal
Add `get_more_comments` backed by Reddit's `/api/morechildren`, taking the post's link id + the `more` children ids, returning the expanded comments.

### Pagination: support after/before cursors on listing tools

## Problem
Every listing tool (`browse_subreddit`, `search_reddit`, `get_user_posts`, `get_user_comments`, `get_top_posts`) is capped at the first batch (`limit`) with no way to page deeper — Reddit's `after`/`before` cursors are unsupported.

## Proposal
- Accept an optional `after` (and maybe `before`) param on listing client methods + MCP tools.
- Return the next cursor (`after`) alongside results so callers can walk pages.
- Keep it user-driven (not bulk scraping) per policy.

### Rate-limit resilience: retry 429 with Retry-After backoff

## Problem
Reddit's limits are tight (~10 req/min anonymous, 60–100 authenticated). The client has **no 429 handling** today — only the safe-mode *write* delay and the 401-reauth retry. A single rate-limit response fails the whole tool call.

## Proposal
Add transparent retry-with-backoff for HTTP 429 in `RedditClient.makeRequest`:
- Honor `Retry-After` (seconds or HTTP-date) and fall back to `x-ratelimit-reset`; otherwise exponential backoff with a cap.
