# Sanction Scanner MCP Server

SanctionScanner MCP brings AML compliance capabilities directly into Claude. Compliance officers can screen individuals and companies against global sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media sources through natural language — no need to switch between tools.

Key capabilities:

Sanctions & PEP screening — Screen names against 1,000+ global watchlists with fuzzy matching
Adverse media — Search news across financial crime, terrorism, regulatory, and other risk categories
Case management — Add memos, set risk levels, assign cases, enable ongoing monitoring
Compliance reporting — Get workload snapshots, alert summaries, and compliance statistics
Customer risk — Query KYC risk scores and high-risk customer lists (requires CRA product)
KYB — Search and retrieve company profiles (requires KYB product)
Authentication uses your existing SanctionScanner API credentials. All actions are scoped to your organization and logged in your SanctionScanner activity log.
