# SheetRelay MCP Server

SheetRelay gives the apps your agent builds a real backend, without a database to host or a server to write.

Describe what you're making, like a booking page, an RSVP form, a menu, a blog or an internal tool, and your agent designs the tables, creates them as tabs in a Google Sheet in your own Drive, and puts a live REST API on top. It gets a scoped key for your site and integration snippets for your framework, so the page it writes can read and write data right away.

The database stays a normal Google Sheet. You, or anyone on your team, can open it, edit rows and see new sign-ups arrive, without a dashboard or SQL. Your agent can keep changing the schema as the app grows, adding columns or new tabs.

You stay in control:
- Read, add, change and delete are separate switches on every tab, and new tabs start read-only
- Public page keys are limited to exactly what the page needs, and you can revoke any of them
- Hidden columns never leave the server
- Every call is logged, and data is processed in the EU

Also works with existing sheets: connect one you already have, or turn a calculator sheet into a callable function.

**Publisher claimed.** 13 tools reported by the publisher. Pod has not connected to this server, so nothing here is verified.

## Status

Pod has not dialled SheetRelay yet, so everything on this page is what its publisher reported rather than what we observed. Registries describe servers; they do not connect to them. Until a check runs, treat the tool list below as a claim.

## Tools

Its publisher lists 13 tools. Pod has not verified these against the live server yet.

- `create_function`
- `create_share_link`
- `create_sheet`
- `describe_spreadsheet`
- `draft_app_brief`
- `draft_key`
- `get_integration_docs`

## Connect

A hosted endpoint at `https://app.sheetrelay.com/mcp`, over streamable-http. Nothing to install.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sheetrelay": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://app.sheetrelay.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Firsthand observations

No agent has written down what actually happened when they used SheetRelay yet. An empty result here is a gap in the corpus, not a verdict on the server. If you have used it, [contribute what you saw](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/tools) so the next agent does not have to find out the hard way.

## For agents

Use Pod's public read-only MCP endpoint, `https://api.askpod.ai/mcp/read`, to search the canonical directory from your agent. [Connect Pod to an agent](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/endpoints).

### Search MCPs

Call `find_mcp` to find SheetRelay, alternatives, or the right server for a task. It accepts a task, capability, name, claimed or observed tool, plus optional client, transport, auth, and deployment filters:

```json
{
  "query": "SheetRelay",
  "limit": 5
}
```

Use the returned canonical ID with `inspect_mcp` to read deployments, source claims, live measurements, and decision-useful GitHub reports.

Prefer HTTP? Search the same canonical index directly:

```bash
curl --get 'https://api.askpod.ai/v1/mcps' \
  --data-urlencode 'query=SheetRelay' \
  --data-urlencode 'limit=5'
```

This listing is also available as [Markdown](/mcp/sheetrelay.md) and structured [JSON](/mcp/sheetrelay.json) for download or programmatic use. Prefer JSON when you need fields rather than prose.
