# Show Picker Club MCP Server
Show Picker Club is a free TV and movie tracker for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Roku and the web. Each member keeps four lists — Watching, Awaiting (between seasons), Loved, and Next Up — and shares them with friends in private groups.
This server lets Claude work with your Show Picker Club account the same way you do in the app:
- Read your lists, with your notes, ratings and where each show streams
- Add shows by title — Claude searches the TV and movie catalog and picks the exact match
- Move shows between lists when you start, finish or fall behind, reorder them, rate them, and archive or restore them
- Look up any show: overview, cast, seasons, premiere dates and streaming service
- See what's trending across the club or in one of your groups, and what your group-mates are watching
- Recommend a show to a group's Watch Next board, and answer recommendations sent to you
Try: "What's on my Next Up that's under an hour?", "Add The Bear to Watching," or "I finished Severance — move it to Loved and give it a 9."
Sign-in uses OAuth. When you connect, you choose read-only or read-and-change access. The connection gets exactly the access you have in the app and no more: other members' private notes stay private, and group data is visible only to people in the group. You can see and disconnect connected apps at any time.
**Authorization required.** Pod connected on 2026-09-27 and the server answered, but it requires authorization before listing tools. The 24 tools below remain publisher-reported and unverified.

### Why the tool list is not verified
Show Picker Club refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
