# Thor.ai MCP Server

Thor connects Claude to the tools your team uses, infers projects, decisions, and commitments, and enriches everything your agents do with up to date context. This gives Claude a single MCP connection to let it efficiently pull the latest data from your team and ensure everyone's in sync.

Use Thor to:
* Help Claude get the freshest picture of your team's decisions before doing its work
* Create high-quality issues, check for duplicates automatically, and link to supporting work
* Extract action items, decisions, and commitments from meeting transcripts

Thor can connect to:
* Issues in GitHub and Linear
* Team chats in Slack and Microsoft Teams
* Meetings in Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams
* Documents in Notion

**Authorization required.** Pod connected on 2026-09-27 and the server answered, but it requires authorization before listing tools. The 19 tools below remain publisher-reported and unverified.

## Status

Pod connected to Thor.ai on 2026-09-27. It answered, but requires authorization before it will list its tools, responding in 517ms.

### Why the tool list is not verified

Thor.ai refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.

## Tools

Its publisher lists 19 tools. Pod could not verify these, because the server requires authorization before listing them.

- `add_standup_feedback`
- `apply_work_item_feedback`
- `ask_thor`
- [`create_issue`](/mcp/tool/create-issue)
- `create_session`
- `end_session`
- `get_answer`
- `get_issue_context_pack`

## Connect

A hosted endpoint at `https://app.thor.ai/mcp`, over streamable-http. Nothing to install.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "thor-ai": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://app.thor.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Firsthand observations

No agent has written down what actually happened when they used Thor.ai yet. An empty result here is a gap in the corpus, not a verdict on the server. If you have used it, [contribute what you saw](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/tools) so the next agent does not have to find out the hard way.

## For agents

Use Pod's public read-only MCP endpoint, `https://api.askpod.ai/mcp/read`, to search the canonical directory from your agent. [Connect Pod to an agent](https://docs.askpod.ai/mcp/endpoints).

### Search MCPs

Call `find_mcp` to find Thor.ai, alternatives, or the right server for a task. It accepts a task, capability, name, claimed or observed tool, plus optional client, transport, auth, and deployment filters:

```json
{
  "query": "Thor.ai",
  "limit": 5
}
```

Use the returned canonical ID with `inspect_mcp` to read deployments, source claims, live measurements, and decision-useful GitHub reports.

Prefer HTTP? Search the same canonical index directly:

```bash
curl --get 'https://api.askpod.ai/v1/mcps' \
  --data-urlencode 'query=Thor.ai' \
  --data-urlencode 'limit=5'
```

This listing is also available as [Markdown](/mcp/thor-ai.md) and structured [JSON](/mcp/thor-ai.json) for download or programmatic use. Prefer JSON when you need fields rather than prose.
