# MCP Servers with a get_dataset tool

Every MCP server Pod knows of that exposes a get_dataset tool.

8 servers, ordered by decision readiness and adoption — GitHub stars and npm downloads where available, then reported issue volume. Pod has connected to 5 of them; the rest are publisher-reported and unverified.

## [Everyn](/mcp/everyn)

Everyn turns CSV datasets into structured, reviewable, and analyzable results. Type in your prompt and get enriched results in minutes. Research leads, summarize/classify text, generate personalized email intros, or whatever else you want to do on your data.

14 tools reported — Live, but requires authorization before it will list tools. Publisher lists 14 tools.

## [Finbar](/mcp/finbar)

High-quality financial data and insights on thousands of public companies, designed for AI-native investor workflows. Pull detailed company information, fundamental time series, and market data across a worldwide coverage, backed by a machine-accessible database of millions of company reports, presentations, and transcripts. Trusted many of the world's largest hedge funds and investors.

## [Honeycomb](/mcp/honeycomb)

Query and explore observability data from OpenTelemetry or dozens of other sources in your honeycomb.io account.

## [Jsonify](/mcp/jsonify)

Jsonify turns websites and mobile apps into datasets you can rely on every day.

Describe the data you need in plain language — competitor prices across retailers, product availability, reviews, listings, research papers — and Jason, Jsonify's build agent, proposes the sources, drafts a typed schema and fetches real preview rows before anything is built. Confirm the brief and Jsonify creates a pipeline: deterministic code that fetches, processes and verifies the data on a schedule you set. When a source changes, the pipeline is repaired automatically and the run resumes. Every published row has passed type, null and duplicate checks.

From Claude you can:
• Build a new dataset from a brief, with preview rows and a volume estimate before you commit
• Run an existing pipeline, with the row allowance and maximum charge shown before it starts
• Query dataset rows with typed columns and filters, pinned to one version
• Check pipeline status, last run, schedule and repair history
• Continue a conversation with Jason to change a pipeline, add columns or diagnose a run

Datasets are delivered where your tools read them: Google Sheets and Excel, Snowflake, S3, webhooks, the API, or straight into Claude through this connector.

Free plan: 100 rows a month, no card required. Preview rows and test runs are free; metering starts only when you build. Self-serve pricing is per row; enterprise deployments are scoped per brief.

Requires a Jsonify account. Sign-in is OAuth; no API key is needed and connections can be revoked at any time from Integrations → Assistant connections.

## [Slatemark](/mcp/slatemark)

Connect Claude to market data, technical calculations, SEC filings, and macroeconomic research. On Free, ask about a stock without a journal entry or brokerage link. Slatemark supplies prices, calculations, and source details; Claude creates the response. Market prices are typically about 15 minutes behind live exchange prices. Tool results identify their source and available freshness information. Tools vary by plan, configured access, credentials, and upstream availability. On Plus, delayed option-chain snapshots are available where listed; they contain no Greeks and use indicative, non-executable midpoint marks.

Your private trade journal and framework rules are optional context. Compare facts with rules you recorded, keep your thesis beside the outcome, and review your own closed trades. The Strategy Scorecard describes your past results; it does not forecast future ones. On Plus, authorized brokerage connections provide read-only Account Data: balances, positions, orders, and activity. Available fills can be imported and reconciled periodically. Brokerage Account Data is not market data.

No signals. Receipts. Market and research tools and brokerage access are read-only. At your direction, journal tools can change only your Slatemark records. Slatemark cannot place, modify, or cancel orders or move money. Slatemark hosts no model and does not provide investment advice or personalized trade recommendations. Slatemark is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, or fiduciary. A Slatemark account is required. This listing installs only the connector; the optional senior-analyst skill is separate.

## [publicdata.au](/mcp/publicdata-au)

Australian government open data republished as CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet, SQLite, Arrow, GeoJSON and GeoPackage at URLs that never change. Every release is a dated, immutable version with schema, provenance and a diff. Run by National Digital. No government agency has endorsed it.

Tools:
- Search datasets: Find the slug of a served dataset.
- Read a dataset: Read a served dataset's data package and full version history.
- List a dataset's fields: List a served dataset's fields, with their types, descriptions, ranges and values, before querying it.
- List partition files: List the download files that split a served dataset's newest version by one field, such as one file per year.
- Query rows: Read individual rows of a served dataset, filtered across the whole table.
- Count and sum rows: Count, sum, average, minimum or maximum rows of a served dataset across the whole table, grouped by up to three fields.
- Compare versions: Compare two consecutive versions of a served dataset row by row on its key fields, to see what a publisher changed between releases.
- Search government portals: Search every dataset listed on Australia's government portals, including the many publicdata.au does not serve yet.
- List the build backlog: List the datasets people have asked publicdata.au to build, most votes first.
- Vote for a dataset: Add one anonymous vote for a government dataset that publicdata.au does not serve yet, so it is built sooner.

The fields of one dataset by slug: types, the publisher's descriptions, ranges and the values each field holds. Find slugs with search_datasets or resources/list.

The MCP server records nothing about who calls it or what they ask. To keep the rate limit, it counts row tool calls per address in Cloudflare's cache for 10 seconds.

## [Tilebox](/mcp/tilebox)

Connect your AI assistant to your Tilebox team. Discover datasets, inspect their schemas, and query datapoints by time and area. Inspect workflow jobs, tasks, logs, and traces. Manage datasets, workflows, and clusters, and deploy releases that have already been published. Search Tilebox documentation for setup instructions and API examples.

Requires a Tilebox account and access to a team. Connect using OAuth and select the team to authorize. The server includes tools that create, change, and delete resources, so review requested actions before approving them.

Building local workflow code, uploading artifacts, and publishing new releases require the Tilebox CLI rather than this MCP server. Deploying a published release does not start compute; compatible runners are needed for tasks to execute.

## [datasets.ai](/mcp/datasets-ai)

Find public government datasets across US, Canadian and European Union portals. Search by topic and publisher, discover available filters, and read dataset descriptions with source and resource links. Designed for researchers, analysts and developers. The service indexes metadata; underlying files remain with their publishers. It does not download, clean or analyse data, or guarantee that every resource is current or available. No account or API key is required. Source licenses apply to reuse. See the privacy policy for MCP request logging.

## For agents

This page has a [Markdown](/mcp/tool/get-dataset.md) and a [JSON](/mcp/tool/get-dataset.json) twin. Pod is also queryable over MCP at `https://api.askpod.ai/mcp/read`.
