Separate product defects surfaced during the PLG briefing review — not part of the docs-truth slice (tracked at VibeCodingInc/vibe-platform#266). Phase 1 (platform#342): auto-install the SessionStart hook in vibe_init — the DM return leg is opt-in today

Parent: vibe-platform#342 (PoC: one wire, two human coding sessions, one valued exchange). Platform ran a read-only audit of the three Phase-1 rough edges; this is the MCP-lane slice. Citations are against the platform repo's pinned mirror of 0.8.18.

The SessionStart hook (session-start-hook.cjs) is exactly right — on startup|resume it injects up to 5 waiting DMs into additionalContext, read-only, no cursor advance, honestly labeled.

[P0] vibe_reflect contract does not match the real VibeStats CLI

Parent: VibeCodingInc/vibe-platform#329. Found while validating merged runtime kernel e0d54a9 against the real provider.

vibe_reflect invokes:

vibestats reflect --json <question>

But the current VibeStats CLI (brightseth/vibestats v0.1.0) has no reflect command. Its private local operation is:
