# Vori MCP MCP Server

Vori is the agentic point of sale and back office for independent grocers. The Vori connector gives your AI assistant the same access you already have in the Vori Back Office, limited to your role and your stores.

Look up and update products, departments and prices. Build and publish promotions. Draft purchase orders and maintain vendor catalogs. Check inventory, invoices, transactions, electronic shelf labels and sales analytics. Search the Vori help center for how-to answers.

Every tool enforces your Vori permissions, so an account with the Read-only role can only read. Tools that change data are labeled so your AI assistant asks before running them.

## Status

### Why the tool list is not verified

Vori MCP refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
