WaveXisMCP has a wavexis_visual_diff tool (in the data tier) that compares two screenshots and returns pixel differences. We also have wavexis_screenshot with full_page support. These can be combined for visual regression testing, but we don't have any examples showing how.

Add code generation for pytest and Playwright Python
Context
seleniumboot-mcp generates test code in Java/pytest/Cucumber from recorded sessions. We have wavexis_record which captures interactions as YAML, but we don't generate executable test code from it. Some users want this for test automation workflows.
What needs to happen
New tool wavexis_codegen that takes a recorded session YAML (from wavexis_record) and outputs:
- pytest script — using wavexis directly with assertions
- Playwright Python script — using playwright.sync

WaveXisMCP has wavexis_record (records interactions as YAML) and wavexis_video_record (records video as WebM). But there's no easy way to create a GIF or MP4 from a recorded session that's suitable for:

Context
WaveXisMCP currently supports two transports:
stdio(default) — for local MCP clients like Claude Desktop, Cursorhttp— for CI/CD, shared instances, Docker
The MCP spec also defines SSE (Server-Sent Events) as a transport. Some MCP clients (notably older versions of some tools) prefer SSE over HTTP streaming. Adding SSE support would improve compatibility with a wider range of MCP clients.

Context
Playwright MCP's accessibility snapshots are optimized for LLM token consumption (~200-400 tokens per snapshot). WaveXisMCP's wavexis_a11y_snapshot already filters InlineTextBox and LineBreak nodes and uses compact refs (el-1, el-2), but it's not as aggressive as it could be.
Adding a compact mode would reduce token usage by 40-60%, making it cheaper to use with LLMs that charge per token.

Context
WaveXisMCP has a basic stealth mode (stealth=true) that hides navigator.webdriver, fakes plugins/languages/chrome runtime, and patches navigator.permissions. This is enough for basic bot detection, but more advanced anti-bot systems (Cloudflare Turnstile, DataDome, PerimeterX) require deeper fingerprint hardening.

Add Safari support via WebDriver Classic backend
Context
WaveXisMCP currently supports Chrome/Edge (via CDP) and Firefox (via BiDi). Safari is the only major browser we don't support. Playwright MCP supports it — this is one of the few areas where they beat us.
Safari doesn't support CDP and its BiDi support is experimental/incomplete. The path forward is WebDriver Classic (W3C HTTP-based protocol) via safaridriver, which is pre-installed on macOS.
