# Waypoint Budget MCP Server

Waypoint Budget is a budgeting app built for Canadian banks. This connector lets Claude read the budget you have open in the app: spending by category and merchant, planned versus spent for the month, individual transactions in small batches, savings and debt goals, account balances, upcoming recurring expenses and income, and net worth. Every tool is read-only. Nothing can be added, changed or deleted, and account numbers are never shared. 

The connection is off by default, turned on by you in Profile, then Integrations, and can be switched off at any time, which disconnects every assistant immediately.

### Why the tool list is not verified

Waypoint Budget refuses an anonymous `tools/list`, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
