Addepar MCP MCP Server

Addepar’s MCP connector brings portfolio data and intelligence into Claude, enabling investment professionals to ask questions in plain language and receive answers grounded in their firm’s Addepar data.

Analyze a household’s holdings, market value, asset allocation, and performance. Understand alternatives exposure across capital calls, distributions, NAVs, and unfunded commitments. Review transactions, identify trends across clients, or gather the data needed to prepare for a quarterly review.

Unlike tools that analyze accounts in isolation, Addepar understands the ownership structures and relationships connecting a client’s complete portfolio. This allows Claude to provide a consolidated household view across accounts and entities, including public and private investments. Permission aware access helps limit the information retrieved to what each user is authorized to see.

Why the tool list is not verified

Addepar MCP refuses an anonymous tools/list, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
