Groundbook MCP Server

Groundbook reviews construction drawings the way a careful engineer would. It reads every sheet and cross-checks plans, sections, details, schedules, and notes against each other and against the specifications; runs your review checklist over the set; and checks the drawings against building codes: public codes, code books you upload, or codes you hold a license for. Every conflict is listed with the exact sheet and text it came from, and the findings become an issue list your team works through, with a PDF report and marked-up drawings to share.

Connect it to Claude and it works in your projects with exactly your permissions: • List your projects and their status. • See open issues ranked by severity, with sheet numbers, or open one issue with its description, impact, recommended fix, and the cited drawing text. • Change an issue's status or severity, add labels, comment, and assign it to a teammate. • Create a project, set the review checklist, add saved files and building codes, and start a check. • Ask plain-language questions about a project's drawings. • Export a PDF report, marked-up drawings, a Bluebeam FDF, or a CSV; the file is ready on the website.

Nothing is visible in Claude that is not visible on the website. Read-only tools run without confirmation; anything that changes data asks first, and deletions are marked so Claude confirms. You can disconnect Claude at any time from Settings.

Why the tool list is not verified

Groundbook refuses an anonymous tools/list, which is the correct thing for a server holding real user data to do. Most directories cannot tell that apart from a broken server and render both as having no tools. It is not broken — it is gated, and it answered us to say so.
