Usecase
We are currently using Redash as our BI tool and are planning to migrate to Metabase to better support our non-tech users with zero knowledge of SQL.

Dropdown filters display as text fields once embedded
Describe the bug
We're experiencing and issue where filters that are set as dropdowns in the Metabse UI are displaying as text fields when embedded in our app.
This is happening to multiple filters, but not to all of them. Additionally, one of the dropdown filters shows one option when there should be four.
Here are screenshots of the two scenarios:

Metric with unnamed Custom Expression breaks Data Model for table
Describe the bug Create a Metric with a Custom Expression without giving it an optional name, and then save the metric and visit Data Model. Now it doesn't load the data on the table for the metric.
Logs
I'm not seeing any backend errors.
But there's browser errors. While saving the Metric it gave TypeError: prevComponentInstance is null.
And when visiting the Data Model, then it shows Error: `query` is a required parameter to format expressions.

SMTP password is stored in plaintext and can be accessed by admins (e.g. from the admin settings email page)
We should probably never allow users to see previously set credentials, and possibly encrypt them somehow.

[SDK] Switching the InteractiveQuestion's questionId from an existing question to "new" causes an empty state to be shown
When there is an already existing question in InteractiveQuestion, but we switch the questionId to "new", the question shows an empty state instead of showing the editor as we expects.
Using this snippet for reproduction:

Clicking on "new question" here makes the empty state for visualization shown:

Auth: JWT + JWKS
Currently the JWT configuration of Metabase Pro/Enterprise uses a "pre-shared key" model where you must configure the JWT pre-shared key with the identity provider and the token they generate must use the same secret key.
This is not common in modern identity systems. Modern identity systems either use OpenID [https://github.com/metabase/metabase/issues/3101] or a JWKS and sign their JWTs using a public/private asymmetric key pair.

MB_API_KEY work only for /api/notify/db/:id endpoint
Describe the bug
I set MB_API_KEY according to your documentation:
MB_API_KEY Type: string Default: null When set, this API key is required for all API requests.
Middleware that enforces validation of the client via the request header X-Metabase-Apikey. If the header is available, then it’s validated against MB_API_KEY. When it matches, the request continues; otherwise it’s blocked with a 403 Forbidden response.

Dashboard not found error in Embedding CLI when selecting other tables
