Pod

Yes, this is on purpose. Pod is built for agents, so the default page is plain HTML.
Human? View the normal website.
Agent? You probably prefer /mcp/tool/read-file.md or /mcp/tool/read-file.json, or Pod over MCP.

MCP Servers with a read_file tool

Every MCP server Pod knows of that exposes a read_file tool.

24 servers, ordered by adoption — npm downloads where a package exists, then reported issue volume. None have been dialled by Pod yet, so every tool list here is publisher-reported and unverified.

GIS Cloud

GIS Cloud is an AI-native, cloud GIS platform. Instead of clicking through a desktop GIS, you describe what you want and Claude does it across your whole account, covering the full lifecycle from field data capture to maps, analysis, apps, and reports.

The GIS Cloud MCP server lets Claude create and style maps and layers, add, edit, and query features, run spatial analysis and structured SQL over your data, build Mobile Data Collection forms for field teams, import files into PostGIS tables, manage tables, datasources, and bookmarks, render live interactive maps, and generate PDF and Excel reports.

It works through a propose-confirm model, so you approve every write and destructive actions are clearly flagged, with account-scoped OAuth access. ISO 27001 certified, serving organizations in 60+ countries.

Where GIS Cloud fits your workflow:

In the field: "Create a Mobile Data Collection form for pothole inspections with severity, surface type, and photo fields, then bind it to a new layer so my crew can start collecting today."

On the map: "Import this CSV of asset locations, put it on a new layer, and color the points by condition rating."

Through analysis: "Find every parcel within 200 meters of the flood zone, then list the ten largest by area."

End to end, in one ask: "Map last month's bridge inspections, flag anything rated poor, and generate a PDF report with the inspector photos and notes."

Hatchable

Hatchable turns your conversations with Claude into real apps that live on the web. You describe what you want in plain words, and Claude builds it and puts it online at its own web address. No coding, no setup, nothing to install.

Everything a real app needs is included:

Want changes? Just ask. Claude updates your live app in seconds, checks that it works, and fixes anything that breaks, all in the same conversation.

People use Hatchable for booking pages, signup and intake forms, club and community sites, small business tools, dashboards, and ideas they want to try for real instead of just talking about. It's also great when you just need a database for Claude to store things in and access.

Connect your Hatchable account and describe your first app. It's free to try.

Remote Desktop Commander

Reach your computer's filesystem and terminal from any Claude conversation. Desktop Commander's Remote MCP relays a secure connection to your real machine, giving Claude the same full file and shell access as the local server — without you needing to be at the keyboard.

Build, explore, and automate from chat: Build from scratch — Create features and applications with simple commands Manage development environments — Set up servers, configure systems, and handle processes Manage context and documentation — Keep track of project details and technical specifications Explore existing codebases and projects — Navigate and understand complex repositories Edit documents in place — Work on Word, Excel, and PDF files where they live on disk

This bridges technical skill gaps with full command-line superpowers, reachable from any Claude surface — web, mobile, or desktop — as long as the Desktop Commander app is running on the machine you want to drive.

ShareWatch

ShareWatch lets Claude create, read, and edit Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides without seeing the rest of your Drive.

Most Drive integrations ask for access to everything. ShareWatch uses Google's drive.file scope instead, so Claude can only reach files that someone has shared through the ShareWatch picker, plus files it creates itself. Google treats everything else as if it doesn't exist and never returns it to the connector.

Once a file is shared, Claude can draft and format Docs with real headings, lists, and links, build and update multi-tab Sheets, create and revise Slides presentations, convert uploaded files to Google formats, and organize, search, and move files within the folders you've opened up.

For individuals, control is one click in each direction. Share a file from the picker, or block it again whenever you want. New files Claude creates go to a default folder you pick.

For organizations, ShareWatch makes AI file access something you can govern and audit. Admins can block any file or folder with a recorded reason. Blocked requests return an audit reference that the user can hand to their admin, so exceptions go through a process instead of a workaround. Access attempts are written to an audit log that admins can review. Business plans add SSO, DLP protections that keep sensitive content from leaving your workspace, and SIEM integration that streams access events to Splunk, with support for other platforms available on request. And since the connector never holds broad Drive permissions, a security review covers one narrow grant rather than tenant-wide Drive access, which makes ShareWatch far easier to approve for teams rolling out Claude under compliance requirements.

ShareWatch works the same way for one person drafting reports and for a company putting Claude to work across Workspace. Claude gets enough access to be useful, and you decide exactly how much that is.

Birta

Birta turns a conversation with Claude into a live, working website — a landing page, a service page, a small commercial site — and keeps it manageable afterwards. You describe the result you want, Claude builds and publishes the pages, and the site goes online at a real address. No servers, builds, or deploy pipelines to set up.

What you can do through the connector:

• Create and list projects, and rename an existing one. • Work on a draft version of a site: create files, read and edit them in place, replace an exact fragment or a range of lines, move or delete files, and list everything before it goes live. • Publish a draft to a real, shareable address — or roll a project back to an earlier published version if something goes wrong. • Read the remarks left on a version, so feedback from a client or a teammate comes back into the same conversation. • Declare lead forms on a site and read the leads that come in, without writing any backend code. • Check a project's visitor stats.

Every published site gets its own address immediately. Custom domains, billing and account settings live in the Birta dashboard, which mirrors what the connector can do — dangerous, irreversible actions stay with you, not the agent.

Macaly

Macaly turns a prompt into a real, deployable web app - and this connector brings that workflow straight into Claude.

Ask Claude to build an app and Macaly generates a full-stack project, builds it, and gives you a live URL. Keep the conversation going to add features, fix issues, and redeploy - all without switching tools.

What you can do:

Build apps - create a new app from a natural-language prompt and watch the build complete. Iterate - request changes in plain English; Macaly edits the code and rebuilds. Ship it - publish to production, check deployment status, and get the live URL. Custom domains - list and connect your own domains to published apps. Inspect the code - browse generated files, read source, and view diffs and edit history for every change. Manage projects - list and open apps, rename, duplicate, revert to a previous version, or delete. Stay in control - check your team’s plan, credit balance, and usage before you build.

NetExplorer

NetExplorer MCP connects your NetExplorer platform to Claude, so you can work with your documents using natural language — without leaving the conversation. Once connected, Claude can search, read, and act on the files you already store in NetExplorer:

Find & retrieve — full-text and semantic search, search by name, by date, or by recent activity Read & summarize — summarize a document, compare versions, answer questions across multiple files, download a file Organize — create folders, rename, move or copy items, and save Claude's output straight back into NetExplorer Share & collect — generate share links or send a file by email, and create deposit links to collect files from anyone (no account needed)

Built on the open MCP standard with OAuth 2.1, the connector is hosted by NetExplorer. Every user signs in with their own profile and acts strictly with their own permissions — admins decide whether read, write, and sharing are enabled. The connector never deletes anything, and your password is never seen by the AI.

WyberAi

WyberAi is an AI app builder. This connector lets Claude create WyberAi projects, queue builds and edits, track build status, and publish finished apps to live public URLs — all against the user's own WyberAi account. Reads are free; builds consume the account's WyberAi credits at the same rates as the web editor. Free accounts include 50 credits.

Croft

Croft turns Claude into your full-stack builder. Describe an app in plain language — a CRM, a habit tracker, an expense splitter — and Claude writes the code, deploys it to your private Croft workspace, and gives you a live URL. Your apps run on a server you own, stay private to you and the people you invite, and are versioned on every change so you can roll back anytime.

Anchor

Anchor gives Claude shared artifacts — it can create files and organize them in folders. Read and write files in HTML, Markdown (MD), JSON, CSV and more, design typed tables and query them with SQL. Claude can move files around, make copies and keep everything organized. Every file, table, and folder created is neatly shareable with your team, while Anchor handles storage, permissions, and versioning. Log in once, no API keys, no setup, and let Claude do its magic, only ever touching what you can access.

Filesystem

This extension allows Claude to interact with your local filesystem, enabling it to read and write files directly. This can be useful for tasks such as file management, data processing, and automation of repetitive tasks. The extension provides a set of tools that can be used to navigate directories, read file contents, and write new files or modify existing ones.

Underneath the hood, it uses @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem v2026.7.4.

InstaPods

Getting a small app online normally means renting a server, installing a runtime, configuring nginx, setting up SSL, a firewall and a process manager, then pointing a domain at it. InstaPods skips all of that. Pick a runtime, get a real Linux server with a live HTTPS URL in seconds, from $3 a month flat with no surprise bills.

This connector puts that in the chat window. You can see every pod on your account and whether it is running, deploy a new one from a preset (static, PHP, Node.js or Python), read the logs and files when a site starts failing, fix the file and reload the app, run a shell command inside your own pod, and move a pod up or down a plan when it needs more or less CPU, memory and disk. So "why is my site returning 502" and "put it back up" become the same conversation instead of a detour into a terminal.

Thirteen tools: eight read-only ones for listing pods, presets, plans and regions and for reading files and logs, and five write ones for creating a pod, managing its lifecycle, changing its plan, writing a file and running a command. Read-only tools are annotated as such so they run without a confirmation prompt; every write tool that modifies or removes something prompts you first.

Every action is scoped to the team that owns the OAuth session, so you only ever see and change your own pods. Plan selection and payment happen on instapods.com, never in chat.

BoardRepo

BoardRepo is where hardware projects live. Store a board here and it stops being a zip file on a laptop: it becomes something your tools, your team, and your AI can all read.

Connect BoardRepo to an assistant and it reads the designs themselves instead of guessing from memory. The schematic and the nets that connect it. The bill of materials. The files in the project. And the public library of real-world boards other people have published. Ask how a part was wired on a board that shipped, what a design is made of, or which published projects use the component in front of you, and the answer comes from a design rather than a recollection.

KiCad and Altium today, and the list of formats is growing.

Access is read-only and OAuth-gated. An assistant can read the public library and every board in your account, including private ones, and it can change nothing.
