Pod

Available as Markdown and JSON. Pod is also available over MCP.

MCP Servers with a read_note tool

Every MCP server Pod knows of that exposes a read_note tool.

8 servers, ordered by decision readiness and adoption — GitHub stars and npm downloads where available, then reported issue volume. Pod has connected to 5 of them; the rest are publisher-reported and unverified.

Basic Memory Cloud

Basic Memory gives you a persistent knowledge base: your notes, decisions, research, and project context, stored as plain Markdown files you own. Anything Claude saves, you can open and edit. Anything you write, Claude can find and build on.

Save what matters. "Save our pricing decision and link it to the roadmap." Notes you save in one conversation are available everywhere.

Retrieve context from anywhere. "What did we decide about pricing? Check my notes first." Never re-explain a project.

Search by meaning. Semantic and hybrid search across everything you and your AI have saved.

Structured search. Filter by status, type, tags, or priority. "Show my open tasks, sorted by priority."

Follow connections. Linked notes let Claude traverse related context and surface relationships in a living knowledge graph.

Share a workspace with your team. Teammates and their AI tools read and write to one shared source of truth.

Notes are stored as ordinary Markdown that you own. Any AI tool can use and build on it, so your shared context follows you across the assistants and agents you use.

Fastmail

MCP is an open standard, not tied to any one AI provider, for how AI clients talk to external data and tools. Think of it as another API sitting alongside IMAP, CalDAV, and CardDAV, except instead of being designed for mail apps or calendar clients, it’s designed for AI models to use directly.

If you point Claude at our MCP server, you can ask it things like “what’s on my calendar tomorrow?”, “draft a reply to Sarah’s email about the Q3 budget”, or “find my dentist’s address in my contacts” and it will do them against your real Fastmail account.

Ideaflow

Ideaflow helps you search, filter, read, create, edit, organize, publish, delete, and restore personal notes and folders through Claude.

Recoble

Recoble is where your team's notes, plans, and tasks live in one place, edited together in real time. This connector lets Claude work directly inside the Recoble space you choose.

What Claude can do: • Notes — search, read, create, and edit them; organize them in a tree, tag them, and publish them. • Workboards — create and update tasks with statuses, custom fields, comments, and dependencies, and read the critical path across a plan. • Relations — link related notes and tasks, then trace the graph between them.

How connecting works: you sign in with your Recoble account and choose which of your spaces to open. The access is bound to that single space — Claude cannot reach your other spaces, and anyone who is not a member of that space is refused.

selah.so

Selah is a Bible study workspace for Christians. Scripture, notes, prayers, reading plans, and a companion that remembers what you're working through.

Connect it and Claude works inside your own Selah account.

Scripture: read any passage and pull the cross-references for a verse. Look up a Greek or Hebrew word by its Strong's number for the lemma, transliteration, gloss and definition.

Notes: search them by meaning rather than keywords, open one in full, start a new one, or add to one you already have (append, prepend, or insert after a heading).

Recall what you've written about a topic, or pull together the material to pressure-test a belief you hold.

Prayer: save a request, read your list, move something to waiting or answered.

Reading plans: see what's available, start one, check today's reading and mark it done, or generate a plan from a goal in your own words: "understand grace", "the life of David".

A free Selah account is created if you don't have one, and every action happens in that account and only that account.

What it won't do: rewrite or delete text already in your notes — it can add to a note, never overwrite one — change your settings, or reach a translation Selah doesn't have the rights to share. Anything saved through Claude is labelled in Selah as coming from an assistant, so you can always tell your words from everything else. Disconnect any time from Claude's connector settings; nothing you saved is removed.

Notiero

Notiero is a free notes app, and this connector lets Claude keep notes for you in it.

Ask Claude to save a decision, a fix that worked, a summary or a to-do, and it lands in your Notiero notebook, where you can read, edit and search it on your phone or laptop. Later, ask "what did we decide about the database?" and Claude searches your notes and answers from the one it finds. It can also add to a running log and sort notes into folders.

Safe by design:

Tools: write_note, append_to_note, move_note, list_folders, search_notes, read_note, list_notes.

Free, no install: sign in to Notiero with your email when you connect.

Very Simple Notes

Very Simple Notes is a clean notes app for you and your agent. Folders on the first page, notes in Markdown, a calm place to write, and nothing you do not need: no templates, no databases, no blocks. The apps run on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

You and Claude share the same notes. Write a packing list on your iPhone in the morning, and ask Claude in the afternoon to add what you forgot. Ask Claude to turn a meeting into notes with decisions and action items, to save a recipe in Recipes, or to find what you wrote about the website plan; you read and edit the result on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Nothing is copied between apps: it is one set of notes, in the folders you already see.

Connected to Claude, your notes become something Claude can read and write. Claude can list your folders and notes, read a note in full, create a folder, create a note in the right folder, edit a note's title or body, star it, move it to another folder, archive it or bring it back, attach a file such as a photo, a receipt or a Markdown file, and read the files on a note, including looking at a photo. Notes are Markdown with headings, lists and checklists; the apps show them richly and never show the syntax.

What Claude cannot do: remove a file from a note, or delete a folder. Deleting a note is possible but permanent, so the tool is marked destructive and Claude asks first; archiving is how a note leaves the list without being lost.

A connection is a personal token for your own notes only. You can see and revoke it at any time in the app under Account.

mcp.ambernotes.app

Amber Notes is a free, open-source (MIT) notes app for iPhone and Mac. This connector lets Claude search, read and edit your notes from any device, with nothing to install on your computer.

What Claude can do:

You stay in control:

Read-only tools are marked read-only. Tools that overwrite or remove content are marked destructive, so Claude asks before using them.
