It lets Claude request a human-approved spending allowance, then use scoped virtual cards to complete purchases without exposing the user's real card. The connector supports approval requests, approval polling, contact and address retrieval for checkout, one-time virtual card issuance, remote fulfillment status, purchase result reporting, allowance management, and merchant capability checks. OAuth sign-in connects each Claude user to their own Allowance account. Allowance is designed for agent-initiated purchases that need clear spend limits, receipts, revocation, and an audit trail.
